Sept 19 (Reuters) - Ukrainian troops pressed on with a frontline counteroffensive around two cities in the east of the country on Friday, with President Volodymyr Zelenskiy saying heavy losses were being inflicted on Russian forces.
Russia said its forces had captured two new villages in their slow advance through Ukraine's east and south, but its Defence Ministry made no reference to the Ukrainian drive near the towns of Pokrovsk and Dobropillia.
Zelenskiy, in his nightly video address, said the counteroffensive had disrupted Russian plans in their longstanding objective of seizing the logistics centre of Pokrovsk.
"It was there that one of the most important directions of the Russian offensive was located, and they were unable to launch a full-fledged offensive there. Our military is destroying their forces," Zelenskiy said.
"The Russians have suffered significant losses, and the 'exchange fund' for our country has been significantly replenished - every day more Russian prisoners are being taken."
Ukraine's top commander, Oleksandr Syrskyi, wrote on Telegram that his forces had advanced from three to seven km (two to four miles) through Russian defences.
In his video address, Zelenskiy also said Ukrainian forces were holding their positions around Kupiansk -- an area of Ukraine's northeastern Kharkiv region that has been subject to Russian assaults for months.
On Thursday, Zelenskiy said Ukrainian forces had recaptured seven settlements and 160 square km (62 sq miles) around Pokrovsk and Dobropillia since the operation began. Another nine settlements had been "cleared" of enemy forces.
The Donetsk region, which is only partially occupied by Russia but which Moscow wants Kyiv to abandon before any peace settlement, remains the site of the most intense fighting.
Russia's Defence Ministry said its forces had seized two more localities -- Muravka, southwest of Pokrovsk, and Novoivanivka, further southwest in the Zaporizhzhia region.
The general staff of Ukraine's military listed Muravka as one of several settlements where its forces had halted 87 attacks near Pokrovsk.
A senior official in the Russia-appointed administration in areas of the Donetsk region held by Moscow told Russia's TASS news agency that Russian forces now had effective control of all roads and other logistics around Pokrovsk.
Reuters could not independently verify battlefield reports from either side.
bueno, igual es un poco propaganda (los ruskis lo hacen en el 99% de las veces), pero siendo zelensky, me da que les están dando aun más de lo que nos cuentan, eh?
es que me parecía raro que no lo estuvieran haciendo ya de antes, pero me da que lo que quieren no es sólo no tener miles de bajas (atacar a lo ruski o algo así) es que van a consolidar lo que recuperen, o sea, la doctrina ruski es recuperar las zonas perdidas en un primer repliegue, antes de que el enemigo lo consolide o algo así... pues esto es lo que estamos viendo, me imagino

de todos modos, si quieren, hacen como cuando se zumbaron los aviones nukes estratégicos... llevan unos camiones y sueltan los drones a 20km

Ukraine Destroys Russian Ammo Depot With Over 19,000 Drones and Rare ZUBK14 Tank Missiles

Ukrainian defense forces have destroyed a major Russian ammunition depot in the occupied settlement of Bohdanivka, Luhansk region, eliminating stocks of precision tank rounds and large quantities of drones.
According to the General Staff of Ukraine on September 22, Russian troops had organized the site as a distribution point for the 17th Tank Regiment of the 70th Motor Rifle Division.
The facility stored ammunition of multiple types, including guided ZUBK14 tank rounds designed to strike armored targets at distances beyond conventional tank munitions.
The General Staff reported that the depot contained thousands of shells for artillery and tanks, along with tens of thousands of mines, grenades, and cartridges.

Deliveries also included over 19,000 drones of various models intended for Russian units operating in Donetsk. Among them were the “Molniya,” “Boomerang,” “Vandal Novgorodskiy,” and “Gorynych” systems, together with supporting equipment such as batteries, communications modules, and video transmitters.
The ZUBK14 rounds, also destroyed in the strike, are notable for their extended range of about 4–5 kilometers. After being fired from a tank gun, the projectile activates a sustainer engine and guidance system, allowing it to adjust course toward its target.
Earlier, on the night of August 19, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) conducted a precision drone strike on two Russian ammunition depots in Bilokurakyne, a key logistics hub in occupied Luhansk.
According to the SBU, the town lies on a major railway route used to supply Russian forces near Pokrovsk. The attack, involving at least seven drone strikes, caused extensive fires confirmed by NASA’s FIRMS satellite monitoring system. The operation was part of Ukraine’s broader effort to degrade Russian logistics and reduce their offensive capabilities.

yo, lo que leo ahí es que han quitado el pin del fabricante y le han dado el manual de instrucciones a los ucros para que lo reparen ellos solos, sin necesidad de ir al concesionario oficial o que te lo chapen en remoto
es más, hasta diría que los 26milloncejos es por tener completo control sobre sus propios aparatos o algo así
o sea, integrarlos en la "otan" (las comillas es otan-ue, sin usa)
