Si, han tirado un Bayraktar... Y no parece que tengan tantos.
La verdad es que es muy preocupante que estén ahora obcecados con ir hasta Moldavia (por eso bombardean Odessa) y dejar a Ucrania sin mar, rodeándolo. Es decir, a pesar de las pérdidas brutales eso habla de un fanatismo y un nivel de commitment que desde luego no augura nada bueno. Si logran tomar Ucrania descuida que irán a por más. La situación es preocupante y lo único que cabe desear es que pete la economía rusa por las costuras a finales de Q2. Los yankis ya van a meter 33000 minoyeh de dólares, gran parte en armamento.
Por cierto, miraba un vídeo de lo de Sarajevo en los 90, un evento que me dejó traumatizado, por ser una ciudad europea con sus VW Golf y tal... y NI DE LEJOS se acerca al nivel de aniquilación y destrucción de los rusos en Ucrania. Es decir, estamos hablando de 20 veces más destrucción ahora, ciudades totalmente arrasadas.
Es tan brutal que creo que me cuesta procesar lo que está pasando.

Yo creo que no. Mira, la escoria lumpen que se queda con la boca abierta y luego genocidan en Bucha porque los Ukros tienen Nutella igual si. Pero vamos, esos tienen la misma capacidad de organización y de tomar el poder que el ejército Afgano (DEP de RIP). Pero las clases urbanas en absoluto son comparables a la mentalidad altamente tóxica, altamente movilizada del apogeo nazi. También es verdad que los movilizaban a ostias los camisas pardas, que en pocos meses lograron virar la sociedad alemana del cabareteo berlinés al Rally de Nüremberg.

Pero no veo yo a los rusos esa mentalidad nórdico germánica de todos a una, si hay que gasear a los juden pues se hace y se hace de la forma más eficiente, menos costosa y con mejores procesos. Russia introduced the ruble in a Ukrainian city it is struggling to subdue.
Russian efforts to subdue the southern Ukraine city of Kherson continued Thursday, as officials introduced the ruble amid renewed resistance from residents.
Russian officials told RIA Novosti, a state news agency, that the city would use the ruble as of May 1. That came a day after hundreds of Ukrainians protested following a declaration by Moscow that soldiers had “liberated” the entire region.
People gathered in the city’s central square on Wednesday morning, according to footage from the scene verified by Storyful, a company that monitors social media for newsworthy video. The videos show some protesters wearing Ukrainian flags. One group, carrying a banner, can be heard chanting “Kherson is Ukraine.”
In one video, the crowd in the square disperses after a puff of smoke and a brief flash of light. People can be seen running and coughing. Another video appears to show an injured protester lying on a bench as someone stands above them, pouring water over a wound on their torso.
Russian troops seized Kherson, a strategically important Black Sea port just north of Crimea, early in March after a battle with Ukrainian forces that left more than 300 people dead, including dozens of civilians.
For weeks, some residents have returned to the streets in defiance of the Russian forces. The gatherings have been some of the most visible scenes of resistance to the Russian occupation, underscoring the challenge Moscow faces as its soldiers try to hold areas against the will of the local populace.
The city’s mayor, Igor Kolykhaev, wrote on Facebook that Russian soldiers had assumed control of the City Council building on Monday evening, taking his keys and replacing the security staff. In a video statement on Tuesday, he said that Russian officials had tried to appoint one of their own in his place.
“But the powers of the mayor were entrusted to me by the residents of the city of Kherson,” he said in the video. “I refused to cooperate with the new administration. Kherson is Ukraine.”
The mayor did not respond to requests for comment.
President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine has accused Russia of planning to hold a sham referendum in Kherson to justify installing an illegitimate government, similar to the self-declared “people’s republics” that Moscow-backed separatists established in Ukraine’s eastern Donbas region.
The rising tensions have led thousands of Kherson residents to flee to nearby Ukrainian-held cities, like Odesa and Kryvyi Rih, officials say.
Oleksandr Vilkul, the mayor of Kryvyi Rih, said in a statement posted to Telegram on Monday that over the past three days his city had welcomed at least 5,000 people from Kherson, which is 115 miles to the south.
“People are leaving on bicycles, and taking old people and children in wheelbarrows,” he said.
Maria Bohdukhova, 23, said she decided to flee Kherson on Monday, shortly after hearing rumors that the Russians had plans to block residents from leaving and entering. She and her mother left for Odesa by car.
“As soon as we heard they might close off the city, we knew it was time to go,” she said. The road was jammed with cars and they had to pass through many checkpoints, she said. When they spotted Ukrainian soldiers as they left Russian-held territory, her mother jumped from the car, in tears, and embraced the first soldier she could reach.
“I can’t describe the feeling of seeing soldiers from your own country for the first time after two months of living with Russian forces,” Ms. Bohdukhova said. “It finally feels like we are living again, not surviving.”
Ms. Bohdukhova said life under Russian occupation was depressing and terrifying. Russian soldiers were ubiquitous on street corners and in shops. “They think because we speak in Russian, we will want to be a part of Russia,” she added. “How can this ever be the case, when they’ve bombed our buildings and terrorized our people?”

Interesante análisis que ha encontrado txusky en el otro foro. Básicamente: los rusos bombardean con artillería, luego mandan unidades móviles a tomar esas zonas donde los Ukros se han marchado. Pero como las unidades rusas están muy mermadas los Ukros pueden retomar las zonas sin problema. Ahora mismo Ucrania no tiene la artillería para devolver los zambombazos en el frente. Todavía no ha llegado, no tienen munición del calibre 152 ruso. Ósea que van a perder terreno.
Como nota el pavo este dice que van solo 2 en algunos tanques rusos en vez de los necesarios 3. Me lo creo.

China’s ministry of foreign affairs has accused Nato of messing up Europe and stirring up conflicts in the Asia-Pacific region, after the UK’s foreign secretary told China it should “play by the rules”.
In a speech at Mansion House in London on Wednesday, Liz Truss renewed calls to boost Nato in the wake of the Ukraine war, and said the coordinated moves to isolate Russia from the world economy proved that market access to democratic countries was no longer a given. Truss also delivered a direct warning to China.
“Countries must play by the rules. And that includes China,” she said.
On Thursday Wang Wenbin, a spokesman for China’s ministry of foreign affairs, dismissed Truss’s comments and accused Nato of demanding other countries abide by basic norms while it has “wantonly waged wars and dropped bombs in sovereign states, killing and displacing innocent civilians”.
“Nato, a military organisation in the North Atlantic, has in recent years come to the Asia-Pacific region to throw its weight around and stir up conflicts,” Wang said.
“Nato has messed up Europe. Is it now trying to mess up the Asia-Pacific and even the world?”

In her speech Truss said Nato had to pre-empt threats in the Indo-Pacific and extend its outlook to democracies outside its membership, like Taiwan, which Beijing claims is a breakaway Chinese province it must retake. She suggested China’s economic rise – now the world’s second largest economy to Britain’s sixth – could be targeted.
“[China] will not continue to rise if they do not play by the rules. China needs trade with the G7. We [the Group of Seven] represent around half of the global economy. And we have choices,” Truss said.
“We have shown with Russia the kind of choices that we’re prepared to make when international rules are violated.”
China has refused to condemn the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, one of its closest allies, drawing criticism and urgings from European and other governments to use its influence on Moscow. A recent China-EU summit was reportedly strained as Chinese representatives rebuffed pressure by European counterparts to help end the war. Premier Li Keqiang said Beijing would pursue peace “in its own way”.
Beijing firmly opposes linking the Ukraine war to its relations with Moscow and has said it will defend the rights of Chinese individuals and companies. On Thursday Wang said China’s position on the conflict had been “consistent and clear”.
“We have always made independent judgments based on the merits of the case,” he said, adding no further detail.
Truss has previously accused China and Russia being “aggressors working in concert”, telling Australian media she couldn’t rule out China using Russia’s invasion as an opportunity to launch its own act of aggression.

Tristísimo... y el vídeo ese donde les cuelan un mortero DENTRO del todoterreno... se ve a los pobres muriendo uno tras otro en el barro. Para qué? Una vida, unos niños criados y protegidos, educados... para morir en el puto barro PARA ABSOLUTAMENTE NADA. Quizás en algún momento perdieron la noción de lo que es vivir bien y estar en Ucrania matando gente les pareció una elección lógica después toda su vida anterior. Pero cuando se vieron en el barro heridos de muerte... seguro que se acordaron de muchas otras cosas mucho más valiosas. De su familia, de los buenos momentos en casa.
Es muy heavy ese vídeo, lo más brutal que he visto nunca creo yo. Esas imágenes hacen más contra la guerra que mil libros.

Zelensky says in the interview that the conflict has made him age but that he is set on leading his country through the war.
