no solo iban a disolver wagner, sino que se iba a detener al shrek... y pasaron "cosas"
Sources of the Russian Telegram channel "VCHK-OGPU" report:
"A VChK-OGPU source described in detail what preceded and prompted Yevgeny Prigozhin's mutiny:
'The precursor of a coup in Russia is always a strengthening of the protection of state institutions . A few days before the escalation of the situation with Wagner PMC, the Federal Protective Service suddenly asked Rosgvardia chief Zolotov to help Dzerzhinsky division fighters. Rosgvardia forces reinforced the Federal Protective Service patrols near the Kremlin, the White House (Russian government building), the Presidential Administration and other government facilities in the capital. On June 27, the reinforcement was withdrawn as suddenly as it appeared; and the main state institutions are guarded as usual.
In addition to the intensified protection of buildings, operative groups of the Federal Security Service and Main Staff of the Defense Ministry flew to the war zone in advance, supported personally by Defense Minister Shoigu and his high-ranking entourage. A group of officers of the Main Personnel Directorate of the Defense Ministry also flew to Rostov. They were all told there that by July 1, Wagner PMC will be disbanded and cease to exist. Newly arrived operational groups and operational staff in the field were ordered to provide this transition without any excesses.
Thus, the operation to disband Prigozhin's army was to take place with Moscow's approval. The protracted conflict between the defense minister and head of the PMC was supposed to end. But everything did not go according to plan.
According to the sources of VChK OGPU, Shoigu was originally motivated by someone to take very drastic measures in relation to several leaders of Wagner. At any rate, Prigozhin and his associates, including Utkin, were to be interned.
But they did not take into account the popularity of the country's chief chef among front-line officers, soldiers and service operatives. All possible scenarios of detention of Prigozhin and his people became public. According to VChK OGPU source, they did not foresee the main thing - unwillingness to side with Shoigu and Gerasimov, who are extremely unpopular in the area of the Special Military Operation.
That is when the missile strike was launched against Wagner's positions. After the failed missile strike on Wagner's positions, the action unfolded.
In a matter of hours, the headquarters of the southern grouping and the city of Rostov-on-Don in addition were taken. The Minister of Defense fled to Moscow.
Then within one day Wagner PMC forces practically approached the capital.
Another one of our sources in the special services speaks of Putin's utter confusion - he was seen in such a state only in 2014, when a Malaysian civilian Boeing plane was shot down by mistake."
